Storyline -

Kesari Movie based on Battle of Saragarhi in which 21 Sikhs of 36 Sikh Regiment of the British Indian Army fought against 6,000–10,000 Afridi.Havildar Ishar Singh who is posted at Gulistan Fort due to some reasons When he reaches Saragarhi, he meets 20 Sikh soldiers who behave nothing like a soldier. Havildar Ishar Singh slowly understands them and molds them into being disciplined officers On the 12th of September, 1897, the invaders attack Saragarhi Fort. The films about how Sikhs give such a tough fight to the over-10,000 Afghanis that it shocks the world.

The 21 Sikhs are killed but the British government is forced to honour.
