Storyline
Kaabil is a one-line story – blind man seeks revenge. We knew that from the promos. So the only question is: how does he do it?
Kaabil is an Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Sanjay Gupta, written by Vijay Kumar Mishra, produced by Rakesh Roshan under his banner FilmKraft Productions.
Rohan Bhatnagar(Hrithik) is visually-impaired since birth. Supriya Sharma(Yami) is also born blind and like Rohan, she too can pretty much look after herself. Both are positive people and decide to marry. However one of the neighbourhood Amit (Rohit Roy) has his eyes on the beautiful Supriya. So he stalks the couple. Just a few days after their marriage, Amit and his friend Waseem (Sahidur Rahman), who is the son of the local butcher follow Supriya home and they rape her.
The movie is about how he fights back against them? Rohan uses his voice modulating skills to lure the culprits. Kaabil receives a good critics reviews and aslo appreciated by public.
Roshan received the Nomination of Filmfare Award for Best Actor for his performance at the 63rd Filmfare Awards.
