Power of letter H - Sajid Khan

Blockbuster Director Sajid Khan giving 3 back to back super hits at the Box office which have crossed the Rs.100 Cr mark!!


Well, you would have notice at the titles of all his films they start from the letter ‘H’- Heyy Babyy, Housefull franchise, Himmatwala, Humshakals, Also Happy New Year (2014) played the role of director in the movie (Cameo).


It all started with his first film 'Hey Babyy', that released in 2007. A movie roughly based on the popular Hollywood film 'Three Men And A Baby', starring Ritesh Deshmukh, Fardeen Khan, Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and Boman Irani.

Sajid Khan’s ‘Himmatwala’ remake of the old hit from the 80s starring Superstar Ajay Devgn and Tamannaah has created much curiosity but not up to snuff.



Humshakals movie is the story of the confusion and mayhem that takes place when three individuals have a lookalike of a lookalike, all with the same name.
Humshakals directed by Sajid Khan and produced by Vashu Bhagnani. The film stars Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Ram Kapoor, Bipasha Basu,Tamannaah Bhatia and Esha Gupta.


Sajid directed the first two parts of the Housefull movie series, did not direct the third installment reportedly due to a fall-out with producer Sajid Nadiadwala.

                     

Housefull 3 is co-written and directed by Sajid-Farhad.The film stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lisa Haydon, Nargis Fakhri,Boman Irani and Jackie Shroff in the lead roles with Chunky Pandey, Samir Kochhar, Nikitin Dheer and Aarav  supporting roles.


The fourth installment of Housefull also not directed by Sajid Khan because has amid allegations that he indulged in sexual misconduct with multiple women (#MeToo).
Multi Starring movie cast - Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Kharbanda, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Rana Daggubati, Amanda Rosario, Chunky Pandey, Ranjeet, Boman Irani, Sharad Kelkar, Johnny Lever, Saurabh Shukla, Nawazuddin Siddiqui (guest appearance), Guru Randhawa (guest appearance).


Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar may play a 16th century king in his upcoming comedy film Housefull 4, according to reports.


 Karan Johar also had stuck to the alphabet ‘K’. Karan made his directorial debut with the film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. And then came his next film called ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum’ and was followed by ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’. All these films were runaway hits.

Karan was so much stuck to the alphabet that he named his TV show as ‘Koffee with Karan’ — yet again with the ‘K’.
